Tranea Lola Cannon is the newest addition to the NI Music Family. In 2015, she made TOP 20 on AMERICAN IDOL, which created a platform for her to further her career. Tranea has shared the stage with industry professionals such as LIL WAYNE, TRINA, TRICK DADDY, PLIES, MYSTICAL, JLO and many more. She is excited to help the stars of tomorrow learn the best techniques to improve vocals live and in the studio. 

Tranea is from Jacksonville, Florida. She started singing at the age of three in the Sunbeam choir at her local church. She has a long list of musical influences, including Mariah Carey, Donna Summer, The Temptations, Celine Dion, Whitney Huston, Boys2Men, Brandy, Monica, Cher, Vanessa Williams, Backstreet Boys, Christina Aguilera, Charlie Wilson, Smokey Robinson, Prince, and Michael Jackson, just to name a few.

For your first vocal lesson with Tranea, she encourages you to bring a willingness to learn. You’re not expected to know everything there is to know about singing, but being open to new ideas and techniques is paramount.

Tranea embraces her teaching methodology and offers one-on-one private sessions and group lessons tailored to each student's unique vocal potential. She aims to help students explore their favorite songs and develop the necessary skills to become independent musicians. Tranea strives to get to know each student and their voice to create a personalized approach to help them achieve their singing goals. She utilizes a variety of theoretical and practical exercises to unlock the true potential of their voice. With a kind, clear, and warm approach, she'll help her students discover and release their authentic voices.

Her techniques include:

· Warm-ups and practice techniques

· Vocal placement

· Projection

· Proper breathing technique

· Diction & Interpretation

· Songs & Repertoire (Rhythm, notation, phrasing)

She'll help you expand your vocal range through simple exercises and vocal strengthening techniques, enabling you to reach higher notes with ease. Additionally, Tranea will train you on proper breath control to enhance your vocal power. Moreover, she aims to build your confidence to perform in front of others.
